About

I have been a caregiver for many years – not by profession but by circumstance.  At some point in our lives, we all become a caregiver for a family member or a friend. People want to know how their family member or friend is.  I often get emails and phone calls such as:

So what’s happening with the folks?

…there are others involved in the caregiving process.  They might be available to visit or run errands.  It’s always nice to hear:

Is there anything I can help with?

Responding to people is time consuming and tedious.  Instead of repeating the same information interfere with the caregiver’s free time.  One solution is sending out an email blast.  Another is to setup a blog where you can post information, pictures, contact information, visiting time, etc.  That way there is a place where everyone can go to find information.  Another advantage is that the link can be sent to other friends or family members that the caregiver doesn’t know.

I hope that this site will be a good example of how blogging is a great experience for the blogger and other people who care.
